Sea City Work Camp

Tool and Gear List

 

PLEASE mark all your tools with your name.  It has been suggested that you also use a fluorescent tape so that you can easily identify your things.  You may want to bring a bucket or box to put your tools in.  NO need to buy new tools for camp.  Accumulate what you can from the list below and know that many of the tools get lost during the week. 

 

Bring:

___ 1-Hammer

___ 1-Nail apron

___ 1-Utility Knife (extra blades)

___ Gloves (Cotton or Leather)

___ Paint brushes2- 2 " for trim 2- 4" for walls. Empty Folgers plastic coffee cans for painting.

___ 1-Putty knife

___ 1-Pliers

___ 1-Tape measure (at least 12 foot)

___ Screw Drivers 1- flat and 1 Phillips

___ 1-Pencils

___ 1-Safety Glasses

___ 2-Dust Masks

___ 1-small bread pan for drywall compound (this can be a small aluminum pan)

___ 1-Personalized drinking cup or sports bottle

___ 1-Bucket or box to put tools in with your name on it

 

Also Bring

___ Hat and bandannas

___ Sunscreen

___ Work clothing for 5 days (old cotton shirts and old shorts, durable shoes with covered  toes      No open toe shoes will be allowed on the job sites.)

___  At least one throw away outfit for painting

___  Sunglasses and or protective goggles

___  Insect repellent

 ___ Casual clothing for evenings

___  Swimsuit

___  Plastic bag or  laundry bag for storing  dirty clothes

___  Enough socks, underwear, towels, washcloths, for 5 days

___  Soap, shampoo, tooth paste, personal items.

___  Sleeping bag and or sheets, blanket, pillow  - Cot or air mattress for comfort

___  Tennis shoes, or casual wear shoes

___   Camera and film (if digital and you want to share your photos for slide show let me know)

___   Quarters/money for soft drinks (75 cents), incidentals

___  Closed toe shoes to work in

___  Shower shoes if desired

___  You may bring a personal stereo(Ipod) for night time
